*// Butterfly

Catchin a deep slumber was almost impossible of late.
Definitely, sumthin will choked ma celebral.
Those short text messages we exchanged felt serene.
When I'm in deep thoughts, e past will replay.
Some will say I'm a tough cookie to crack but,
Even e toughest cookie crumbles sumtyme & so do I.

Ponder upon this extract:

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly
One day a small opening appeared
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
It struggled to force its body through that little hole
Then it seemed to stop making any progress
It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could
And it could go no farther.

So the man decided to help the butterfly
He took a pair of scissors and snipped off
The remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily but,
It had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings
He continued to watch the butterfly
He expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge
And the body would contract
Neither happened!
In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling
Around with a swollen body and shriveled wings.
It was never able to fly.

The man acted with well-intentioned kindness
But he didn't understand the consequences.
The restricting cocoon and the struggle required to get
Through the tiny opening, were nature's way of forcing fluid
From the body of the butterfly once it achieved it's freedom
From the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If nature allowed us to go through life without any
Obstacles, it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as we could have been
And we could never fly

P.S. This was given to me by a precious sumone I called a bestfriend but, had left e world to venture a new life. I've kept this in ma posession fo two years. You're still remembered each & everyday. And, liven up in ma prayers.

Due to ma unpermissible health, e escapade to Batam was cut short.
Therefore, I have a short update before ma next trip.
Ma deepest gratitude fo still bringin me along.
I would haf known I can't sustain e agony but,
All I wanna do was to be there.

I got addicted wit e "Teh Botol Sosro".
In fact, e only drink I had durin ma stay there.

- addictive -

I indulge maself wit typical Indonesian food.
Hawker-hoppin from one to another.
Havin a wide variety of Nasi Padang from different continents.
Sumthin' I've started to missed bout Batam.

- finger lickin -

And got ma fair share of A&W's Waffle Ice Cream.
One word: Heavenly~!

A particular nyte while havin a late-nyte supper,
I was extremely amazed by e mass amount of buskers.
And, very talented too.
While savourin' wit e table-spread of seafood,
I was approached by a sweet sound whisperin to ma ears.
He entertains me wit "Kekasih Gelapku".
We actually gave him a lump sum of money.
Goosebumps all over.

Wen he asked fo a snap wit me, how can I possibly say no?
Ironically while at e mall e next day, we bumped again.
I had a good conversation wit him, undenially.
E best part, we got good bargains wit him aroun.
He joined us fo e day, I'm touched.
Thanks fo ur prayers & e short tyme-spent was unforgettable.
Insyallah, I'll be okay.

From now till I know wen, I'll be on hiatus.
I'm still available thru ma cellfon except 5th to 12th Feb.
A getaway wit e family is what I yearn fo.
Lyke I said, I'm makin full use of e tyme Allah given me.
I'm glad dey agreed to haf this escapade along.
Before e crucial day come by.

E more I hinder, e faster tyme accelerates.
Wit blink of an eye I'm sure March will be here in no tyme.
If only I posess a tyme-machine. =(
I can always run but, I can't never hide from reality.
Reality sure bites, it does~!

P.S. Wit all e laughters & smiles by friends, family nor foes it has given me dat extra strength to bypass this ordeal in calamity. Insyallah.

After a long awaited plan, we finally met.
They're whom I called e Disneyland Princesses.
Fo dey painted colors to ma fairytale fantasy.
How dull will life be without them?
Introducin Watie Cinderella & Aiyda Belle.

I met Watie fo some eye-candy shoppin @ Raffles City.
We went berserk at e littlest things we set eyes upon.
And continued @ Vivo City while waitin fo Aiyda to end work.
We conquered every inch & corners before declare defeat.
Our legs were achin by den.
It's tyme fo a heart-to-heart talk by e staircase.
What adds to e emotion was e view of Sentosa. =(

A simple dinner @ Breeks was a great remedy~!

A rejuvenatin news or was it anotha disaster?
I'll pray to Allah every follow-up turn out smooth.
I'm in e midst of a 50-50 battle.
A whole week of intensive treatment in an emergency ward.
On e verge of declarin, defeat~!
Here's a summary of "what-a-way-to-welcome-e-new-year".

As I was pounded wit lyfe-saver equipment,
As I was syringed wit aesthetic as antidote,
As I was lyin down helpless in agony,
Two things bypassed ma solace mind: Lyfe & Death.
Flashbacked of loved ones haunt ma solace mind.
Thou I hesitant deep down, I pursuaded Momma to go.
As she stepped out on me, ma heartbeat halted.
Dats how much she meant to me.
